Gingivitis

Inflammation of the gums or in the medical world is called gingivitis, usually caused by dirty teeth. Gingivitis can also be caused due to an error in brushing teeth. Outside of these two causes, there are other secondary causes. But clearly, kengganan for dental hygiene is absolutely the beginning of gingivitis.

Without realizing it, most people consider sores and other oral diseases such as bad breath and bleeding gums and cavities, mouth sores by many people known as the wound on the mucous membrane in the mouth.

Generally, sores in the mouth, not in. If not accompanied by complications due to infection by more virulent bacteria, canker sores will heal on their own without the former. The infection usually begins with the appearance of fluid-filled bubbles in mouth. This bubble may rupture and form painful sores that will.

In fact, a recent study showed a strong link between the accumulation of bacteria in the oral cavity with other serious diseases, such as diabetes, heart attacks, blood infections, until the problem with the baby weight is not sufficient. Gingivitis is recognized to be a major factor cases of teeth and tooth supporting tissue damage. The longer plaque and bacteria that sit on the teeth it will cause inflammation of the gums is called gingivitis.

Symptoms

In simplex gingivitis, the gums appear red, not pink. The gums swell and easily moved. If the patient brushing your teeth or eating, gums often bleed. If gingivitisnya weight, then the pillow when you wake up in the morning will be filled with blood, especially if the patient during sleep breathing through his mouth.

Acute herpetic gingivostomatitis is a viral infection of the gums and other mouth parts, which cause pain. The gums appear bright red and there are many open wounds that are white or yellow in the mouth.

Gingivitis in leukemia is an early sign of leukemia in about 25% of people with children, infiltration (infiltration) of leukemia cells in the gums causing gingivitis and reduced ability to fight infection will further exacerbate this situation. The gums are red and bleed easily.

Bleeding is often continued for several minutes or more because in patients with leukemia, the blood does not clot norm.

Results of the WHO survey shows, almost 90% of the world population has been exposed to the disease gingivitis (gum inflammation). Discomfort is a common disorder that is felt. Especially, due to the unpleasant aroma and mouth pain when chewing food.

To prevent and overcome, it is recommended to:

Routine cleaning of tartar 1, a minimum of 6 months, tartar which builds up a nest of millions of bacteria that cause inflammation.

2 Immediately patching cavities such as holes could potentially be a breeding ground for bacteria that cause infections in the gums.

3 When taking antibiotics to tackle gingivitis, should be spent as directed by your doctor. If not, the bacteria causing the infection it will be more resistant and easier to rip the gums.
